本报意大利维罗纳、泰塞罗3月7日电 （记者郑轶、陶相安）当地时间3月6日晚，第十四届冬季残疾人奥林匹克运动会在意大利维罗纳竞技场开幕。本届冬残奥会共有来自55个国家和地区的611名运动员参赛，规模创冬残奥会历史新高；共设6个大项、79个小项的比赛。中国体育代表团运动员共70人，将参加6个大项中的71个小项比赛。这是我国参加境外冬残奥会项目最多、运动员规模最大的一届。
